Expo: Enchanting Ikebana

Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging, is deeply rooted in Eastern philosophy and way of life. Each composition expresses a sense of inner stillness — a moment of focus and connection with nature.

Delicate and fleeting, Ikebana follows the rhythm of the seasons. Branches, leaves, flowers, and berries are carefully selected and arranged in harmony with the space and the vase that holds them. Nothing is random — every detail is balanced and intentional.

This ancient art invites us to slow down and to observe with gentle eyes. It is a quiet expression of respect, simplicity, and the beauty of transience.

The exhibition is a collaboration between Ohara Chapter Belgium and Meise Botanic Garden.
